Universal Security Academy – USA are United States Homeland Security Certified Trainers.  The mission at Universal Security Academy is to provide professional, practical training the guard can utilize in the field.  We teach courses in full compliance with the requirements mandated by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS).

 

To work as a guard in California, you must possess a security guard license.  As long as you are 18 years of age and have no felonies or violent misdemeanors you can obtain a guard card and exposed firearms permit.  At USA We regularly have Military Veterans taking our classes:

 

• We are an EDD and SETA’s list of approved training facilities

• All required training can take up to three, weeks to complete

• State of California has a fast track program for veterans, which speeds up the approval process.

• Discount on tuition, for Veterans

• Provides job placement assistance based upon companies who are hiring.

• Once you are licensed, we also provide continuing education training necessary to maintain your licenses
